Where is Lewis Middle School?
Lewis Middle School is located in Valparaiso, Florida (population 6,000). Valparaiso is a city in south-central Okaloosa County, in northwest Florida. The city of Fort Walton Beach is to the west, and Niceville adjoins Valparaiso to the east. North of Valparaiso is the Eglin Air Force Base Preserve -- thousands of acres of wilderness. The city of Crestview is farther north, and then the Alabama state line. There are two distinguishing feature in the Valparaiso area -- one natural, and one man-made. The natural feature is Boggy Bayou, which adjoins Santa Rosa Sound, and eventually the Gulf of Mexico. Boggy Bayou provides fishing and recreational opportunities for the residents of the area.
