Bigchalk Education Network is an extensive online resource that includes the 2002 World Book Encyclopedia, four other encylclopedia, a dictionary, a thesaurus, 8 almanacs, 7 atlases, and 24 other commonly used reference sources. Also included are magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures and audio/video clips.
NewsBank consists of several databases useful in the education setting. They include: NewsBank NewsFile Collection, NewsBank Middle School Edition, NewsBank ScienceSource Collection, and NewsBank KidsPage (for elementary students). Also included are maps, current events and teacher resources.

that are tailored to support a variety of subject areas. The content ranges from
EBSCO's unparalleled collection of full text magazines, newspapers, and
reference books to detailed pamphlets.
NoveList
(a reader's guide to fiction)
NoveList provides a Fiction Readers Guide to 74,000 titles. Search by
author, subject or title and follow the links to a good book.
