This web-page provides access to online web-based reference resources for Lewis Middle School students and households when they are away from school.
Details about each product, as well as direct links, are listed below. Bigchalk Education Network is an extensive online resource that includes the 2002 World Book Encyclopedia, four other encylclopedia, a dictionary, a thesaurus, 8 almanacs, 7 atlases, and 24 other commonly used reference sources. Also included are magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures and audio/video clips. NewsBank consists of several databases useful in the education setting. They include: NewsBank NewsFile Collection, NewsBank Middle School Edition, NewsBank ScienceSource Collection, and NewsBank KidsPage (for elementary students). Also included are maps, current events and teacher resources.
