Congratulations to Thomas Howell and Nick Morken! These Lewis athletes participated in the Middle School Panhandle Regional Track Championship and did very well. Click here for a photo and their results.
Congratulations to Mr. Colon and our Symphonic Band students. They received all superior ratings from each of the FBA judges at the Music Performance Assessment. All 4 judges had the band scored at straight A’s in every caption and sub-caption, including the sight reading judge. Way to go!

Relay for Life 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run was a big success! Thanks to everyone who came out. Overall Results Age group Awards
6^th grader Scott Wheeler won the Northwest Florida Daily News Norman Rockwell writing contest and received a gift card to Destin Commons. Ms. Joni Shaw is his Language Arts teacher.
Cross Country runner Thomas Howell finished 1st in the County Invitational Meet on Oct. 23rd with a time of 11:13. Way to go!
Social Studies/ Math teacher Mrs. Sondra Singleton was a top three finalist for the Warren B. Tracy Social Studies Award honoring teachers who excel in and out of the classroom.
Eighth grade clarinetist Kayla Melendez made All State Honor Band represented Lewis in Tampa!
Mrs. Shirley Andrews’ choral program sent fourteen singers to Tampa for All-State Chorus. What an outstanding year! Click here for more information.
