The Lewis Middle School Wellness Center is for the Lewis Middle School 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who would like to become physically fit. It is open Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 1:35-3:00 PM. The Lewis Middle School Wellness Center will be supervised by one of the physical education teachers.
The Wellness Center works out all of the body muscles, burns fat and makes you look and feel great. The benefits of working out at the Wellness Center are loosing weight, gaining energy, looking great, and feeling great all at the same time.
Coach Tom Burke, Dr. Linda Smith, and former principal Mr. Wayne McSheehy established the Wellness Center in 1996. They established it for after school activities and to lead the way into the future of what P.E. will be. They got the money from fundraisers, and local business donations.
