Exchange Club
Young Citizen of The Month

Lewis student, Michael Mitchell, has
been named the Exchange Club Young Citizen of the Month. The national
organization honors one extraordinary student each month and 7th grader
Michael was chosen the recipient for January.
The award is meant to reward a
student who personifies a good citizen. They look for students who go
above and beyond the call of duty, one who would never shirk when there is
work to be done. Someone that you would be proud to call daughter or
son, friend, or classmate. They strive to choose caring individuals
who give to their communities.
Michael was honored at the January
meeting of the Exchange Club. His family and several members of the
Lewis faculty were there to cheer for him as he was presented to the group.
We are proud of Michael, and are
glad he's here at our school. |
